Me, Now
What/why this site?
I’ve been meaning to create a space on here that talks about what I’m doing now for a while. It didn’t fit quite right in the about page nor my portfolio. I got to know about the /now movement by Derek Sivers after I read his book Anything You Want and visited his site. Talk about everything falling into place!

Reading gives me solitude
Folks who are unable to afford books, please consider applying for a library card and download the Libby app. Often times, that gives you access to a range of e- and audio-books! To support your local bookstore, bookshop.org is a great option :)

I just bought this book, excited for it to arrive and have it at my desk as a daily reminder!
A Mindful Year: Daily Meditations: Reduce Stress, Manage Anxiety, and Find Happiness in Everyday Life by Aria Campbell-Danesh & Seth J. Gillihan
This book is now a part of my morning routine. I read the prompt for the day and do my best to practise mindfulness + gratitude. So far, I have found it to help in putting perspective on what matters and emotion regulation. Highly recommend!
Writing is my muse
Writing long-form posts on my blog here has proven to be more work than I can chew… HOWEVER!
You can follow and read about what I care about on my LinkedIn.
I have also started a newsletter, I Changed My Mind. Subscribe here.
The next major piece of writing I am working on is the Ancestral Wisdom Anthology. More to come!
… and work is my fuse.
Unfortunately, I have been laid off in February. I am currently looking for work in the U.S. and, as a visa holder, have till June to do so. You can download my CV here and view my past work here.
Music & Feels
Adele and Sam Smith are my go-to now when I’m in the mood for some sitting with emotions. Megan Thee Stallion and Doja Cat when I need a boost!
I’ve been feeling grateful at how life has played out. Feels like I’m currently reaping the fruits of my labor in my job search, becoming more financially literate, untying the knots of generational trauma.
I’ve done hard things. I can do it again, whenever life calls for it.
